Matt and I had fun making Theo's birthday cake, which as you can see, was made with lots of love. I also bought Theo his favorite thing, a mylar helium filled balloon, and it was SPARKLY, his other new favorite thing, as evidenced by all of you who chose first birthday cards with glitter! Those were a big hit! Theo spent most of the weekend playing with, carrying, or pointing at his balloon. The morning of his birthday, he held fast to his birthday while he: played his piano, ate in his highchair, crawled around the room, scooted on his scooter, and had his diaper changed.
