Franklin has become tremendously fun in the last couple of weeks! He smiles often, and even giggled for the first time a couple of days ago, on Matt's birthday. He also makes the most wonderful cooing sounds now. He is so physically strong, he can even stand up when we hold his torso or hands. We sat him in a bumbo seat the other night, and sure enough, he sat right up in it! He sure seemed pleased with himself. Then he started pooping and fell sideways from all the pushing. Franklin is also gifted pooper - I've been sorely tempted to post a segment called "Poop Star", but there's only so many real-life details you guys probably want to hear...
