Franklin is a wonderful 8 month old baby. He loves to sit and play and watch his brother. They take baths together and play with the same toys. Franklin can stand up holding on to the coffee table, and is starting to babble distinct sylables like ba and da and di. He loves to be outside and watch the world, especially on a glorious warm sunny day like today. He kept staring towards the sun behind our deck awning today, I think wondering what the heck that bright spot was! This last outdoor shot (with Lucy's tail) seems like a preview of what he will look like when he is older, doesn't it? He eats without trouble, happily opening his mouth and efficiently consuming whatever mashed selection he is offered. We've introduced cheerios, but he's just not too sure about crunchy things yet. He sleeps through the night 11-12 hours most nights, and wakes up happy, smiling, and kicking with joy for life. He loves to grab at anything he can reach and touch people's faces. He is such an even tempered, mellow, sweet boy, and we all love him so.
