Darling Franklin at 13 months

At thirteen months, Franklin is enjoying his power to stand. He pulls himself up everywhere and is having fun getting into stuff his brother is doing. He likes to practice walking with someone holding him up by his hands, and his favorite is going up the stairs this way; he seems to have a strong climbing instinct. He is a very proficient hands-n-knees crawler, but when the situation dictates, he still can butt-scoot with the best of them. His latest word acquisitions include "yay," car and cracker. And of course he is pointing and asking "that" to have everything identified for him - he gets so excited to learn the names of things. He has his first molar and all three other 1-year molars are under big red gum lumps, soon to erupt. His canines look to be coming in and his second set of front bottom teeth are on their way as well - making for what appears to be eight active teeth on their way! Fussy McTeether-Pants! Teething biscuits are our friends, and baby ibuprofen, - and he is enjoying things like apple sticks to chew on. Yesterday he figured out one of his shape-matching toys and was thrilled to get the round thing to go through the round hole and see how the other shapes work. This second year is such fun.
Found the food cupboard!
