My baby! He'll be 16 months on saturday! Well, this last month has brought a whirlwind of development. Yesterday at dinner he said four words I'd almost never heard him say: cracker, more, water, and broccoli. Broccoli was totally new "brabree" but appropriate because the kid LOVES broccoli. I'm tempted to offer him cookies and broccoli and see which one he picks. He's learning new words at a fast clip right now after having taken a little break while he was learning to walk. Now he walks nearly all the time. I love getting pictures of the boys holding hands. Franklin had a check up a couple of weeks ago and it seems he's growing leaner and leaner. He's just shy of 24 lbs, only the 40th percentile for weight. A nice 33 inches tall, 90th for length. Look at this skinny boy! And we were sure he'd be such a chunker. Just like his brother, long and lean. He's still developing those finer motor skills nicely; he's already learned how to put two duplo blocks together, can turn the handle on the jack-in-the-box, and opened his first door the other day.
